Analyze borrower’s income to their proposed debt and borrower’s ability to repay the mortgage. Should be able to review borrower employment and income documentation.
Must be able to do income calculation for all types of borrowers (W2, Paystub, Tax Returns, Retirement Statement, and other types of income).
Review mortgage disclosures to make sure all federal and state lending regulations are followed.
Maintain current and accurate records for each client throughout the lending process and ensure sensitive information is handled with the utmost care
Present progress reports and updated financial data to the mortgage team to ensure a successful close.
Keep abreast of various changes in income review guidelines, business processes, products, and systems.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATION**
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have prior income underwriting experience (1-2 years) in US residential mortgages.
Detail knowledge and strong understanding on ‘C’ - Capacity of Mortgage.
Should be aware of the following documents: VOE, Bank Statement, LOX,
Personal Tax return, SSA, 4506T, Offer letter, VVOE, 1099, K1 and addendums.
Work closely with underwriter, loan processor and loan officer to get the required income related documentation
Must enjoy working with a company that values its team members
Strong PC skill with experience in MS Office
Detail oriented and strong verbal / written communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under stringent timelines
Strong ability to establish productive working relationships and influence
critical decisions across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of all the document types in the origination process and regulatory agencies

**POSITION REQUIREMENT**
MS/Income analyst is responsible for end to-end review of income related documents that are required for
underwriting a loan. Income analyst duties include working closely with underwriter, loan processor and loan officer to determine & mitigate any issues or explanation that is required upon review of income documents. The income analyst’s role is to review all the income related documents and analyze borrower’s income to their proposed debt and borrower’s ability to repay the mortgage. We are looking for an MS/Income analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Team Leader of Operations, this individual will be responsible to work closely with
underwriters in reviewing the borrower’s income to their proposed debt and loan qualification. This position represents a unique opportunity to join a growth stage company to work closely with underwriters, loan officer & loan processor to assist UW in taking decision on the loan.
