Hiring for Mechanical Draughtsman

Navi Mumbai, India Client of Peoplelan LLP Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop mechanical component's drawings for sheet metal furniture products.
- Create and modify 2D drawings using SolidWorks drawing software.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure the designs meet product specifications and requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of designs, including bills of materials, engineering change orders, and manufacturing instructions.
- Prepare bending, fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Collate design data and create documentation for project release.
- Review and modify existing drawings to improve functionality, and increase efficiency.
- Conduct drawing reviews and participate in its validation.
- Work with Excel spreadsheets to create Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantity.

**Qualifications**:

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in mechanical draughting for sheet metal components.
- Proficiency in Solid Works 2D Drawing software.
- Good understanding of GD & T.
- Experience in sheet metal industry will be preferred.
- Ability to create detailed engineering documentation, such as bills of materials and engineering change orders.
- Excellent communication skills to work with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
