Assistant Professor

**Role Definition**

The Assistant Professor for BTech (AI/ML) is responsible for delivering high-quality education, fostering innovation, and guiding students in the rapidly evolving fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The role focuses on teaching excellence, hands-on learning, research, and mentoring students to excel in academic and industry-focused AI/ML projects.

**Minimum Qualifications**

**Education**:
Master’s degree (MTech/MS) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree (BTech) in a relevant discipline (AI/ML, Computer Science, etc.).

**Experience**:
0-3 years of teaching experience in higher education or relevant industry experience in AI/ML.

Practical exposure to hands-on AI/ML projects and their implementation.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Teaching and Instruction**

Deliver high-quality instruction for undergraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and related fields.

Develop and deliver lectures, practical lab sessions, and workshops to enhance students’ technical knowledge.

Use innovative teaching methodologies, including project-based learning, case studies, and real-world problem-solving.

**2. Lab Supervision and Practical Implementation**

Conduct and supervise lab sessions using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

Mentor students on practical AI/ML projects, ensuring they gain hands-on experience in model building, deployment, and evaluation.

**3. Research and Development**

Engage in research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data Analytics.

Publish research in reputed journals and conferences, contributing to the academic reputation of the department.

**4. Student Mentorship**

Provide academic and career guidance to students, aligning their learning path with industry trends.

Supervise undergraduate projects, internships, and competitions in the domains of AI/ML and Data Science.

**5. Curriculum Development**

Design and update course content to reflect industry standards and emerging technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Integrate practical AI/ML tools and technologies into the curriculum to ensure industry readiness.

**6. Industry Collaboration**

Build connections with industry experts to facilitate guest lectures, workshops, and collaborative projects.

**7. Assessment and Evaluation**

Develop and evaluate assessments, including exams, assignments, and hands-on projects, to measure learning outcomes.

Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.

**8. Professional Development**

Stay updated on advancements in AI/ML frameworks, tools, and technologies through continuous learning and professional certifications.

Participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to improve academic and teaching capabilities.

**9. Departmental Activities**

Actively participate in departmental meetings, reviews, and strategic initiatives.

Contribute to organizing seminars, guest lectures, and academic workshops to enhance the learning environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹578,644.39 - ₹1,309,232.70 per year
