Job Title: Mobile & Laptop Repair & Refurbishment Technician

Job Summary

The Mobile & Laptop Repair & Refurbishment Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing mobile phones and laptops. The technician ensures that devices are restored to optimal functionality and meet quality standards before returning them to customers or reselling them. This role involves both hardware and software repairs, as well as maintaining accurate records of repairs and inventory.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Diagnostic and Repair Services**
- **Device Diagnosis**: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify hardware and software issues in mobile phones and laptops.
- **Hardware Repair**: Repair or replace defective hardware components such as screens, batteries, motherboards, and other internal parts.
- **Software Troubleshooting**: Resolve software-related issues, including operating system problems, malware removal, and data recovery.
- **Quality Assurance**: Test repaired devices to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards.

2. **Refurbishment**
- **Device Refurbishment**: Clean, refurbish, and reassemble devices to make them look and function like new.
- **Component Testing**: Test and validate components to ensure they meet operational standards before reassembly.
- **Upgrades**: Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.

3. **Customer Service**
- **Customer Interaction**: Communicate with customers to understand issues, provide repair estimates, and explain repair processes.
- **Technical Support**: Offer technical support and advice to customers regarding device maintenance and care.
- **Service Records**: Maintain detailed records of repairs, including diagnostics, repairs performed, parts used, and final testing results.

4. **Inventory Management**
- **Parts Inventory**: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for repairs.
- **Ordering Supplies**: Order replacement parts and manage stock levels to ensure availability of necessary components.
- **Inventory Records**: Keep accurate records of parts used and inventory levels.

5. **Technical Skills Development**
- **Continued Learning**: Stay updated with the latest technology trends, repair techniques, and new device models.
- **Training**: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

6. **Compliance and Safety**
- **Safety Standards**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling electronic devices and tools.

Qualifications and Skills
