**Position name**:Ambulance Paramedic

**Location**:Gurgaon

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Clinical Duties**:
○ Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide advanced life support (ALS) to patients in need

○ Diagnose/ assess patients’ conditions, determine the necessary medical interventions, and deliver appropriate treatment as per doctor advice (e.g., first aid, CPR, and oxygen therapy, IVs, administer medications)

○ Monitor and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and interventions during transport.

○ Consult doctors as per compliance before administering specific treatments/ actions

○ Communicate patient condition and next steps to patient family/ friends with care

2. **Operational Management**:
○ Maintain equipment sanitisation and replace medical supplies as necessary

○ Oversee daily operations of the ambulance service, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.

○ Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service efficiency and patient care.

○ Coordinate logistics for doctor arrival

○ Ensure that the ambulance is always parked in the designated parking spot provided by Zomato when not in use

3. **Staff Management**:
○ Train, and mentor paramedics and EMTs, fostering a positive team environment.

○ Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

4. **Quality Assurance**:
○ Monitor patient care and service delivery metrics to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.

○ Conduct regular audits and assessments of ambulance equipment and supplies to ensure readiness.

○ Implement quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance data

5. **Emergency Preparedness**:
○ Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios.

○ Conduct training drills and simulations to ensure team readiness.

6. **Financial Management**:
○ Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management for the ambulance service.

○ Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements

7. Abide by company policies and requirements incl. wearing uniform and reporting required information

**Qualifications: - should be as prescribed under law. An illustrative list below**:

- Minimum 1 year EMT course certificate from a registered training institute
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a paramedic
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- Ability to work in night shifts as per schedule

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry patients and equipment as required.
- Capacity to work in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor settings and emergency scenes.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
