**_ We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist with some years of experience in the US healthcare billing process, preferably from a US healthcare outsourcing company. This role is ideal for a professional who understands end-to-end billing functions and is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of claims. **_Responsibilities_**:**_ _**

**_Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance carriers based on payer requirements and billing guidelines._**

**_ _**
**_Ensure timely and compliant billing of charges for medical services rendered._**

**_ _**
**_Scrub claims to detect and correct coding errors, modifiers, or missing information._**

**_ _**
**_Coordinate with coding, AR, and eligibility teams to resolve billing-related issues._**

**_ _**
**_Track and follow up on rejected or denied claims and initiate re-submissions._**

**_ _**
**_Maintain up-to-date documentation and billing records in client systems._**

**_ _**
**_Stay informed about payer rules, CMS guidelines, and billing regulation updates._**

**_ Qualifications we seek in you_**:**_ _**_Minimum Qualifications / Skills_**_ _**
- **_Must have B.Com or M.Com degree_**

**_
- **_ Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_**_ _**
- **_Experience in US healthcare billing with a US healthcare BPO or outsourcing company._**

**_ _**
- **_Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and modifier usage._**

**_ _**
- **_Familiar with commercial and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)._**

**_ _**
- **_Strong communication skills - verbal and written._**

**_ _**
- **_High attention to detail and analytical thinking._**

**_ _**
- **_Proficient in billing platforms such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, or similar systems._**

**_Passionate about revenue cycle and process improvement._**
