**Job Summary**:*

**Key Responsibilities**:*

**1. *Teaching**:*
- Delivering lectures and conducting tutorials in Accounts and Statistics for B. Com and B. Com (Hons) students.
- Preparing and updating course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to students in their academic and professional development.

**2. *Research**:*
- Engaging in scholarly research in the fields of Accounts and Statistics.
- Publishing research findings in reputed journals and presenting at conferences.
- Collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects.

**3. *Departmental Activities**:*
- Participating in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
- Contributing to the organization of seminars, workshops, and other academic events.
- Assisting in the accreditation and quality assurance processes.

**Qualifications**:*
- **A PhD/UGC-Net** equivalent terminal degree in Commerce, Accounting, Statistics or a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience: Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions or relevant industry experience can be advantageous
- Research Publications: Evidence of research contributions, publications, or presentations in commerce-related topics
- Research Skills: Strong research abilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to contribute to the academic literature in commerce-related fields
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively and interact with students and colleagues
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with other faculty members, industry professionals, and students on research projects or academic initiatives
