**Job description**

**We Need a Assistant Professor in Commerce Dept. for Statistics Subject**
- Must have passion for academic, institutional and student development pursuits
- Should have offered courses to students in the core area of expertise
- Should have been consistently involved in applied research and publications in reputed journals
- Should display evidence of ?integrative thinking? in academic work
- Should have contributed in institutional development and building by way of involvement in organizing international and national level conferences, workshops and conclaves
- Regular academic work(lectures / practicals / tutorials / projects and examination),
- assisting in admission work, curriculum designing,
- technology mediated teaching learning process,
- managing elective/ audit/ credit/ bridge/ augmentation courses, routine departmental academic and administrative work,
- maintaining academic data and documentation as per instructions from Coordinator or any other higher administrative authority from time

to time.

**Qualifications**
- **A PhD/UGC-Net equivalent terminal degree in Commerce, Accounting, Statistics or a related field from an accredited institution**:

- Experience: Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions or relevant industry experience can be advantageous
- Research Publications: Evidence of research contributions, publications, or presentations in commerce-related topics
- Research Skills: Strong research abilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to contribute to the academic literature in commerce-related fields
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively and interact with students and colleagues
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with other faculty members, industry professionals, and students on research projects or academic initiatives
