The primary role of an Associate in investment control team at Empower India is to ensure that to perform reconciliation like TB, Balance sheet etc., on IFRS17 standards, in a timely manner. Important to capture, validate and track the variations found in the structured format. Reporting the variations to the respective stakeholders and finalize the reconciliation.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Ensures all the source files are used appropriately
- Should proactively identify client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction
- All the recon fundamentals/principles/procedures are applied while performing reconciliations
- All variations must be captured in the tool and communicated properly
- Monitor deliverables by tracking activity, publishing progress reports and dashboards and recommend actions
- Drives innovation through collaboration with clients and business processes
- Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor/Front line Manager
- Shift Timing: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST - Monday to Friday.

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting is a must

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 0 to 2 years of experience in reconciliation
- Experience on Mutual funds, Hedge funds, private equity, IFRS 17 standards accounting are preferred
- Knowledge of Capital Market and Investment Banking Industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, mainly excel
- Should have good oral and written communication skills
- Accountability: Demonstrates reliability by taking necessary actions to ensure all tasks are completed
- Time Management: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
