Medical Oncologist

**Description**
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed cancer diagnoses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies, blood tests, and imaging studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, and other advanced therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to plan and coordinate comprehensive care.
- Prescribe and monitor the administration of chemotherapy and other treatments.
- Manage potential side effects and complications related to cancer treatments.
- Adjust treatment protocols based on patient response.
- Provide compassionate care, counsel patients and families about treatment options and prognosis.
- Monitor patient progress during and after treatment, adjusting care as necessary.
- Engage in long-term follow-up care, including survivorship programs and palliative care when required.
