**Description**
- Perform detailed assessments of patients with suspected or confirmed cancer diagnoses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as biopsies, imaging studies (CT, MRI, PET scans), and blood tests to determine the nature and extent of cancer.
- Perform oncological surgeries, including tumour resections, biopsy procedures, and reconstruction surgeries, with a focus on minimizing the spread of cancer and improving patient outcomes.
- Specialize in the surgical management of cancers, including but not limited to breast, colorectal, gastrointestinal, skin (melanoma), liver, lung, and head and neck cancers.
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques such as mínimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, and sentinel lymph node biopsy as appropriate.
- Conduct preoperative evaluations to assess surgical risks and create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide postoperative care, including monitoring recovery, managing complications, and coordinating rehabilitation or follow-up treatments.
- Collaborate with medical oncologists and radiation oncologists to plan adjuvant therapies such as chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy.
