**Roles and Responsibilities**
- The Chief Warden is the principal liaising officer between the Wardens of various hostels, Mentors and the Department of Student Support Services
- Responsible for granting leave for students and wardens for a hostel in case a Warden goes on leave
- Periodically visit the hostels and be in contact with the Wardens, mentors, staff, and students
- Advise the Wardens on the extra and co-curricular events hosted in the hostels and in the campus
- Document all Incidents and share with the Department of Student Support Services by raising an Incident report
- Monitor rounds of wardens and check all hostels on a regular basis
- Ensure wellbeing of all Hostel inmates and wardens
- Maintain rosters of all SOPs, processes with respect to hostel activities
- Responsible for working on the NAAC documentations
