**Purpose of the Role**

Responsible for the execution of Vegetable Crops R&D trials (L2-L4) planned in Gujrat states and in future he might need to support for VC R&D Trials in other states as well.

**Position**: Research Associate, VC Trials

**Location: Vyara, Surat, GJ**

**Reporting**: Sachin Kharat

**Qualifications**: M.Sc. Agriculture

**Experience**: 5 Years

**Major Job Responsibilities**:

- Need to manage VC R&D trials in crops (viz., Tomato, Cauliflower, Sweet Corn, Hot Pepper, and Okra) mostly on farmers field in Gujrat states as per the SOPs
- He needs execute planned trials in market potential areas in proper sowing windows throughout the year.
- Need to evaluate each trial planted in Gujrat states and submit the report as per the SOPs
- Responsible for collecting all required data points as per the business requirements.
- Planning of CID visits for L4 trials evaluations and co-ordinations with internal stakeholders and get select the right product.
- Provide technical training to the Field Assistants to make them capable enough to carry out the research trials.
- Manage the farmers field VC R&D trials in given budget.
- Need to execute trials in given budget only.
- Need to develop strong farmer’s network in GJ state
