**Summary**:
As the Student Counsellor, you will be the primary point of contact at Qlass Tech for our students. Your role will involve daily interaction with students, guiding them throughout their academic journey from admission to graduation. This includes ensuring a positive customer experience on our platform and taking full ownership of the students' learning outcomes. Additionally, you will serve as the main contact for parents, providing them with continuous feedback on their child's progress.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide academic advising and support to students on course selection, academic planning, and graduation requirements.
- Meet with students individually and in groups to discuss their academic progress and goals.
- Assist students in identifying their strengths and weaknesses and developing strategies for success.
- Connect students with resources, such as tutors, counselors, and financial aid advisors.
- Intervene early when students are struggling academically or personally.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Provide support to parents and guardians.
- Represent Qlass Tech at school events and conferences.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in student counseling.

**Work location**:The role will be based out of Patna. The person would need to report in in-person at the office.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate or Master's degree in counseling, education, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in academic advising or student counseling in a K-12 or higher education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to helping students succeed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and local language)
- Ability to informally engage with student, teachers and parents and willingness to work on ground level initiatives

**Salary**: ₹8,270.93 - ₹20,000.00 per month
