**Job Title**: Housekeeping Supervisor

**Reports To**: Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Manager

**Job Summary**: The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, managing inventory, coordinating with other departments, and addressing guest requests and complaints promptly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision of Housekeeping Staff**:

- Assign daily cleaning tasks and areas to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workload distribution.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing training and feedback to maintain high service standards.
- Motivate team members and address any issues that arise during shifts.
- **Inspection and Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Identify maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance department for timely resolution.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Place orders to replenish stock as needed, ensuring budget adherence and cost control.
- **Scheduling and Staff Coordination**:

- Prepare and adjust staff schedules to accommodate occupancy levels and special events.
- Arrange for replacements in cases of staff absences to maintain operational efficiency.
- **Guest Relations**:

- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Implement corrective actions to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction.
- **Compliance with Safety and Sanitation Standards**:

- Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, emphasizing safety protocols.
- **Collaboration with Other Departments**:

- Work closely with the front office to update room status and prioritize room cleaning based on guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to report and resolve any repair issues promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in hospitality management is advantageous.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks in large organizations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
