**Job Title**: Oral Maxillo Facial Surgeon (MDS Dentist)

**Department**: Dental Surgery

**Location**: Apollo Dental, Varthur Road Branch

**Reports To**: Branch Manager / Clinical Director

**Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Diagnosis and Treatment**:

- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with oral and maxillofacial concerns.
- Accurately diagnose conditions, including but not limited to facial trauma, oral cancer, TMJ disorders, and dentofacial deformities.
- Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
- Perform a variety of oral and maxillofacial surgeries, such as extractions, implants, corrective jaw surgery, and facial reconstruction.
- **Patient Care**:

- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care throughout the treatment process.
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative instructions to patients and their families.
- Manage pain and discomfort effectively during and after procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with other dental professionals, including general dentists, orthodontists, and hygienists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to treatment planning discussions.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Maintain active memberships in relevant professional organizations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognized dental college or university.
- Valid registration with the Dental Council of India.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in various oral and maxillofacial procedures.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
