**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1.**Drafting and Design**: Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints for a variety of civil engineering projects, emphasizing building and marine/coastal structures, while adhering to industry standards and project specifications.

2.**Building and Marine/Coastal Expertise**: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of building and marine/coastal engineering principles to develop accurate and comprehensive designs that ensure structural integrity, safety, and functionality.

3.**Project Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes, address technical challenges, and optimize project outcomes

4.**Quality Assurance**: Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and project guidelines.

5.**Software Proficiency**: Utilize industry-standard drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create detailed drawings and models, as well as other relevant software for simulations and analysis

6.**Documentation**: Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including design files, drawings, and related records

8.**Communication**: Effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear presentations and reports

9.**Project Management**: Assist in managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed within established deadlines and budgets.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil drafting and design, with a strong focus on building and marine/coastal structures.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to civil and marine/coastal engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior draftsmen and contribute to team growth.
- A portfolio showcasing past drafting and design work related to building and marine/coastal structures is a plus.
