Position: Telecaller (Overseas Education Counselor)
We are looking for experienced and creative Study Abroad Education Counsellors - who are driven and self motivated to attain the set targets in terms of student recruitments for overseas education to join our growing Team. The Education Counselor is responsible to support Business Development. He/she is accountable for achieving the team and individual sales targets. He/she is also accountable for achieving the team and individual sales leads generation target through Partner Secondary Schools, Exhibitions, and other feeder channels.
**KEY & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide comprehensive counseling services to prospective students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, USA, and others, guiding them through the education options available at our represented institutions up to the point of enrollment.
- Act as the primary liaison between our organization and respective university partners, ensuring that the team stays informed about any developments or updates related to the partner institutions.
- Support the team in various outreach activities, including roadshows, exhibitions, events, and school talks, to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure the achievement or surpassing of set targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by employing effective strategies and maintaining high levels of productivity.
- Assist the Student Placement team with any additional tasks or ad-hoc activities as required to facilitate smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
- Conduct regular market intelligence and competition analysis to identify trends, assess market dynamics, and inform decision-making processes.
- Monitor student progress and provide necessary support to ensure their academic success and satisfaction with the services offered.
- Coordinate and maintain effective communication with venue partners to facilitate successful collaboration for college programs, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders involved.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within specified timeframes, following up to ensure satisfactory resolution and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Strive to meet both individual and team KPIs and goals through continuous improvement and dedication to excellence in performance.
**Qualifications/Experiences**:
- Possession of a diploma, bachelor's, or master's degree in counseling, psychology, administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders such as students, faculty, staff, and external partners. Preferably, a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an educational environment.
- Preferred experience in business development and account management within the education sector.
- Experience in regional sales execution is advantageous.
- Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- Proficiency in selling and counseling, with a strong ability to engage and persuade stakeholders effectively.
- Extensive experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
- Familiarity with sales tools, processes, and technological developments relevant to the education sector.
- Knowledge of customer profiling and competitor profiling in the higher education products market.
- Ability to conduct cost benchmarking for sales and marketing efforts.
- Understanding of agent network management and remuneration structures.
- Capable of footprint expansion, development, and optimization strategies.
- Proficient in English language skills, both written and verbal.
