**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning & Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive history lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives for higher secondary levels.
- Teach advanced topics in history, including world history, national history, and thematic studies.
- Employ a variety of instructional methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of historical concepts.
- **Student Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments, including tests, essays, and projects, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain order and ensure a productive learning experience.
- Address and resolve any classroom issues or conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and refinement of the history curriculum and instructional materials.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in history education and integrate them into teaching practices.
- Participate in curriculum review and development meetings.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with developments in history education and teaching methodologies.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and other educational events to enhance teaching skills and historical knowledge.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with colleagues to align instructional practices and contribute to departmental goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, academic committees, and school events as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in History, Education, or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching history at the higher secondary level.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of historical events, theories, and historiography.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and instructional materials.
- **Attributes**:

- Ability to inspire and motivate students through innovative and effective teaching methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
