**POSITION TITLE**:Production Planner (India)

**REPORTS TO**:Master Scheduler

**PRIMARY PURPOSE**:The primary focus of this role is to independently review customer orders, assess material availability, evaluate available production capacity, and assign accurate ship dates based on customer request dates. This position requires strong analytical skills, and excellent time management abilities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Independently review incoming customer orders and assess their requirements and specifications.
- Analyze customer request dates and prioritize orders based on agreed-upon delivery commitments.
- Evaluate material availability by reviewing lead times, in process supply, and on hand inventory levels.
- Anticipate potential material shortages and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Assess available production capacity by analyzing current production schedules and workforce availability.
- Determine the feasibility of meeting customer order deadlines and prioritize orders accordingly.
- Communicate ship dates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross departmental teams as needed to address specific order requirements or resolve any issues that may arise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in production planning and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Proactively seek feedback and implement best practices to optimize order fulfillment processes.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Associates Degree or 1-3 years related manufacturing experience
- Previous experience with ERP system a plus (Epicor preferred but not required)
- Good communication skills including the ability to respond to inquiries from other internal departments
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
