Chief Information Officer needed in an Education Group in Gurgaon.

(Immediate Joining)

Qualification:
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant technology discipline. Some course work in business

administration is desirable.

Experience: Minimum 12 years. Some international experience/exposure is desirable.

Expectations:
A)Core Technology Infrastructure Management
- To strategize, design, implement, maintain and periodically upgrade the entire

technology infrastructure for large-scale school campuses including on premise

servers, cloud servers, network, security, internet, bandwidth, laptops, projectors,

printers, other IT assets, etc.
- To implement, customize and resolve academic, administrative and financial ERPs

etc.
- To hire, train, lead, mentor and motivate local IT teams at each school campus and

the central IT and development team at the Corporate Office.
- To manage technology budgets and negotiate with vendors for procurement
- To establish and manage IT policies, strategies and standards for the organization
- To stay updated with the ever evolving global landscape of technology systems

including advancements in hardware, software, cloud, networking, etc.

B)Technology Integration in Student Learning
- To work closely with the academic leaders for introducing new and innovative ways

of integrating technology in student learning and increasing pedagogical efficacy
- To formulate and design a big data and analytics strategy for academics and

administrative functions and implement tools and frameworks necessary for the

same
- To develop and mentor evangelists in non-IT departments at each school campus to

execute the strategic goals and drive the technology transformation forward.

C)Product Development
- To implement, maintain and lead future phases of the product development life cycle

for an already existing propriety school and learning management solution built in
- house on SaaS model using the following technology:
oFramework:.NET including both web forms and MVC

oServer-Side Language: C#

oClient Side Tech: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, AdminLTE

oJava: JDK 8 development kit with third party integrations such as JXBrowser

oHosting: IIS 8.5 Web Server on AWS

D)Academic Interventions
- To conceptualize entrepreneurship and innovation programs for students
- To establish linkages with various academic departments
- Background verification will be conducted.
