- You will be part of Business Payments Digital Transformation business unit that enables business growth through the delivery of digital propositions to customers directly or via internal and external partners. The team also support Partner integrations to our platforms and provide our joint customers with digital Servicing capabilities.
- The Digital Product Owner will assist and work alongside the Senior Digital Product Owner and they will be responsible for business outcomes that are linked to the successful delivery of digital capabilities that contributes to the overall payment ecosystem.
- Additionally, the role holder will understand the broad needs of the business, the competitive landscape in which their product operates, and work with Commercial and Customer Facing teams to spot trends and technical developments opportunities.
- In this role, you will be working very closely with Technology teams responsible for both Frontend and Backend development and testing. Thus a strong affinity to and experience of working with technology is highly desirable.

What will you be doing?

Product Integration and Strategy
- Understand business and customer needs and translate them into detailed, functional requirements
- Understand the competitive landscape, customers and business
- Represent the needs of the customer and business and ensure that these are understood by Engineering Teams
- Participate in fulfilling digital aspects of the Barclaycard Payments Digital Transformation agenda
- Evaluate a variety of business and customer needs and analyse their impact on the digital offering, helping to identify opportunities and execute on ideas quickly
- Support the release of specific product features through collaboration with Commercial, Operations and other BP business teams to address ongoing questions from the project team to help build the best product possible
- Lead and perform Business Live Proving following a deployment
- Team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and goals
- Utilisation of customer research and testing techniques to ensure simple customer design is central to design & delivery
- Define and monitor digital data success metrics including value drivers

Product/Capability Ownership
- Lead and participate in the resolution of Live Incidents and any remediation activities
- The maintenance and prioritisation of allocated backlogs and input into Feature Team planning
- Contribute to the delivery of agreed specific product development/enhancements to time, cost and quality targets etc.
- Work alongside the development team to address ongoing questions and issues and provide regular feedback to ensure any product enhancements made are best in class
- Lead and participate in troubleshooting sessions to identify root cause for defects
- Engagement with project teams and third party vendors in order to enable delivery of specific new products/services

Performance Management
- Understand and monitor dependencies, issues and risks efficiently to maintain planned/agreed milestones in the plan
- Provide regular status reporting and alignment reviews with relevant parties
- Create, monitor and manage the commercial and digital metrics for the delivered capabilities
- Play a significant role in the building of relationships with stakeholders across Barclaycard and Corporate/Business Banking to align them to the vision an
