3. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information

4. Install and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices

5. Respond to security incidents and alerts in an effective and timely manner

6. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends in the field

7. Provide training and support to other staff members on security protocols and best practices

8. Participate in testing and evaluating new security tools and technologies.
