Report for duty according to the planned roster
- Report on time for work
- Present in proper uniform and groom well
- Observe professional code of conduct
- Take detail Patient Handover with the file and check each record for completion
- Assess the assigned Patient and fill the initial assessment form at the time of admission and reassessment during every shift
- Prioritize the needs and give care accordingly
- Carry out all bedside nursing activities and document appropriately in activity billing sheet and in HIS.
- Attend doctors’ rounds and Carry out Doctors Orders.
- Carry out following activities and prepare the patient accordingly.
- Admission & Discharge Process.
- Pharmacy Indents.
- Cross Referrals.
- Lab Investigations.
- Service Booking.
- Patient Bedside Medicine
- Preparation for surgery
- Assisting for procedures
- Assess and monitor mother during labor and delivery and document.
- Monitor and document the characteristics and number of uterine contractions and the fetal heart rate.
- Carry out the instruction for various blood tests and inform the reports to the obstetrician.
- Monitoring the progress of labor and the status of the fetus and report to the obstetrician
- Report and record the early signs of fetal distress or complications.
- Performs vaginal examination to assess the progress of labor, record and report appropriately
- Prepare the mother for a cesarean section as per doctors instruction
- Help and support the mother through complicated contractions.
- Adheres to the strict principles and practices of sterile techniques to control infection while preparing the articles for spontaneous vaginal delivery or for complicated labor
- Assist for spontaneous normal vaginal deliveries
- Assist for episiotomies and repairing episiotomies and lacerations,
- Stabilize the baby right after delivery
- Monitor the Apgar score of the newborn and record birth weight, applies identification bands to newborn.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Palghat, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
- total work: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Malayalam (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Nursing License (preferred)
