Guidance Plus Educational Services is looking for a passionate and experienced **Study Abroad Counselor** to join our dynamic team in **Koothattukulam**. In this role, you will play a key part in guiding students through the entire study abroad process—from initial consultation to post-enrollment support. You will help students make informed decisions about their education abroad and provide them with the necessary tools and support to succeed.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with students to understand their academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Provide personalized guidance on suitable study abroad programs, universities, and courses based on students’ individual profiles.
- Organize and conduct seminars, workshops, and presentations to educate students and their families about study abroad opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, universities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the study abroad industry to provide accurate and current information.
- Offer ongoing support to students throughout their study abroad journey, including pre-departure orientation and post-enrollment follow-up.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (education, counseling, international relations, etc.).
- At least 6 months of experience in the study abroad field, preferably as a study abroad counselor or student counselor.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Sound knowledge of study abroad destinations, universities, academic programs, and visa procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Certification in counseling or relevant professional qualifications.
- Previous experience working with educational consulting firms or study abroad agencies.
