Job Location**:Byculla**

**Job Summary**:
The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety protocols and procedures on a residential building project site. The role involves ensuring compliance with local and national safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, providing safety training to workers, and mitigating any potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience **:5-7 years**

Key Responsibilities:
Safety Protocol Development: Create and implement safety plans and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the residential construction project.

Site Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, or non-compliance with safety regulations.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all safety practices adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

Risk Assessment: Perform detailed risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential risks.

Safety Training: Provide safety orientation and ongoing training to workers, supervisors, and contractors on best practices, use of safety equipment, and emergency procedures.

Incident Reporting and Investigation: Lead investigations for any accidents, near-misses, or safety incidents, and generate comprehensive reports with corrective actions.

Safety Audits: Coordinate regular safety audits and recommend improvements to ensure continuous enhancement of safety protocols.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure all workers are adequately equipped with the necessary PPE and that it is properly maintained and used.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid support.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance certifications.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.

Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or similar credentials (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).

Proven experience as a Safety Engineer in construction, particularly on residential projects.

Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards.

Excellent communication and training skills.

Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective safety solutions.

Proficient in using safety management software and tools.

Preferred:
Experience working on high-rise residential building projects.

Familiarity with ISO safety standards.

**Work Environment**:
This role primarily involves working on-site in challenging environments, requiring a proactive approach to safety management in the dynamic context of residential construction.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
