The role of Ceramic Engineer is to develop, oversee, optimize, and troubleshoot manufacturing
processes to produce ceramic composite materials. This position requires a person to perform work
with minimum supervision, exercising judgment and initiative.
Required Skills Set:
1. Kiln Knowledge is Must
2. Ceramic Background ceramic media, Tiles, Clay, Kiln Etc
3. A ceramic engineer must be familiar with Bonding Abrasives material. Raw materials and its
properties like Ball clay, feldspar, aluminium oxide and etc.
4. Good English communication is must
Duties/Responsibilities
1. Engage in development activities like sample preparation, presentation with different recipes,
and prototyping
2. Firing monitoring at required temperature, to maintain required standard for ceramic testing
3. Take responsibility for the maintenance of machinery and equipment.
4. Troubleshooting projects include kiln, material testing.
5. Expected to work on all phases of development including material science research, process
and product development and the implementation of this work into R&D demonstrations,
scaleup and fullscale manufacturing
temperature composite and ceramic parts, including ceramic matrix composites, and
fabrication methods and associated processes
7. Interface with suppliers regarding technical issues concerning raw materials, parts fabrication,
new materials/processes, and/or review of manufacturing plans
for customers and their employees.
9. Material characterization and process development, including selection of materials and
processes for parts and products
10. Demonstrate open and collaborative approach in all areas of responsibility
11. Conducts tests to evaluate the efficiency of process.
12. Troubleshoot problems with processes and implement changes as required.
13. Analyse and troubleshoot manufacturing techniques, procedures, and processing conditions.
Evaluate processing conditions and resultant material properties and troubleshoot as
necessary utilizing techniques.
14. Prepare estimates of production cost and production progress report for management.
15. Should contribute toward process cost reduction and process atomization.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
