**Job Title: IB-Certified Western Dance Teacher**

**Open to relocate to Raipur, Chhattisgarh**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate Western dance lessons (e.g., jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, etc.) in alignment with the IB curriculum (PYP/MYP/DP, as applicable).
- Develop lesson plans that integrate the IB learner profile, international-mindedness, and inquiry-based learning.
- Prepare students for school performances, showcases, and IB-related assessments (such as ePortfolios or collaborative projects).
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with other teachers in cross-disciplinary projects (e.g., dance and drama, or dance and literature).
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance assessments.
- Encourage students to explore creativity, self-expression, and physical literacy through movement.
- Support extracurricular dance clubs, events, and competitions as needed.
- Participate actively in professional development, curriculum planning, and school events.
- Uphold and model IB values and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, Education, or related field.
- Certified IB educator with experience in the PYP, MYP, or DP programs (depending on the school level).
- Formal training and demonstrable skill in Western dance forms (contemporary, jazz, hip hop, modern, etc.).
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in an IB or international school setting preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with choreography and performance production is a plus.
