Procure to Order Buyer - Job grade 7

In this role you would be supporting global locations

Key Responsibilities & skills required:

- Purchase products and services based on business requirements in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Help customers in compiling purchase requests that ensure the correct product/service and a smooth purchasing process.
- Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
- Basic knowledge of Indirect Procurement commodities (categories) and end to end Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
- Secure compliant implementation of contracts in Procurement systems including complex contracts and ensure data consistency in order to ease approval of requisitions,
- Be the interface to PSSC-Wipro for the Source to Pay process and address any questions,
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
- Manage delivery escalations; analyse root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Familiarize with vendor management/onboarding process, contracting process, invoicing process etc.
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
- Understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture, and customer order fulfilment.
- Must have relevant experience (minimum 4+ years) in the operational part of Procurement, including transactional & strategical activities within Indirect Procurement.
- Basic working knowledge in ERP - SAP Ariba, SAP Blue Planet, SAP P20 Logistics and Finance, SAP P10 S/4 HANA and other tools like myOrders, Webcycle, CLM-Apttus, E2Open (good to have),
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Previous relevant experience in the operational part of Procurement, including transactional & tactical activities within Indirect & Direct Procurement,
- Experience working in ERP (especially SAP) and understanding e2e within Source to Pay,
- Able to work per defined SLA, meet all KPIs (Quality, e2e cycle time, touchless PO),
- Graduate with strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good to have other international language skills.
