**Job Title**: Financial Controller

**Location**: Mumbai

**Reporting to**: MD

**Job Summary**:
You will play a key leadership role in driving financial efficiency, safeguarding company assets, and supporting strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize the company’s financial position.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and audits.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and process improvements.
- Support strategic planning and decision-making with financial insights and risk analysis.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and performance improvement.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification.
- 7-12 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial/controller role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in industry - manufacturing, tech, retail, services].
- Familiarity with fundraising, M&A, or investor reporting (for startups or growth-stage companies).
- Exposure to international finance or multi-currency environment

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
