**Job Summary**
- Works under the direction of a marketing director or manager to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives.
- Research market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information that helps managers and directors develop marketing plans.
- Analyses surveys, polls, and other market research to look for patterns and trends.
- Creates graphs, reports, and detailed data analysis using computer software.
- Delivers reports on research findings through written documents and verbal presentations.
- Assists in creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, marketing copy, etc.
- Provides fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of mailers, website content, and other promotional materials.
- Helps maintain social media accounts for company, products, or services.
- Enters marketing data into spreadsheets and helps to create data and financial reports for marketing managers and directors.
- Helps maintain excellent client relationships through superior customer service skills
- Places calls to or visits clients as needed to provide marketing materials, deliver sales pitches, or answer client questions
- Organises and plans the production of all major marketing materials by working closely with printers, sponsors, and other involved parties
- Helps to plan promotional events hosted by the company's marketing department
- Keeps client information confidential.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Prime duty is to create marketing strategies through planning and research on various factors such as pricing, competition, marketing research and customer/client preferences.
- Clear cut understanding of organization/company goals, and work accordingly to achieve the goals.
- Marketing manager needs to manage a team of employees under him/her, marketing manager must motivate and extract results from his/her team members and also responsible for the outcome.
- Another duty is to watch on for the latest changes in product trends / marketing trends and implement marketing strategies for the growth of the organization.
- Assistant marketing manager, in the process of marketing research must attend all the top seminars / trade shows / Exhibition related to the industry to know and to find the latest developments / competitors / products in the industry, if the product is an international product preferably visiting trade shows taking place anywhere in the world is a big advantage and also following the business magazines related to the industry, web news, latest white papers on your industry, etc.

- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
- Excellent time management skills
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
- Ability to spot emerging trends
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
