**The Opportunity**

Arup Façades is an enthusiastic, dedicated and energetic, multi-disciplinary team of façade designers and engineers. We are a leading consultancy in our space both locally and internationally and our team includes engineers, technical specialists, building physicists and architects, all of whom share a passionate interest in cladding design. Our creativity and technical expertise allow us to take on ambitious projects that few companies can deliver.

**Responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for preparing Façade Shop drawings for various façade systems including unitised, semi-unitised and stick curtain wall glazing details, cladding details, canopy and skylight details, BMU details, etc. using AutoCAD platform with document control capability and delivering Façade projects in BIM (Autodesk Revit) to appropriate LOD both in 3D and 2D (i.e., using native families and architectural/structural components as relevant).
- You will be setting-up project models geo-located, being familiar with BIM 360 environment and providing ongoing support, troubleshooting and guidance for BIM workflows and standards and assisting in the development of project-specific families in coordination with Facades / GRS standards
- You will be providing assistance to clash detection processes (typically by others) and actively contributing to developing the BIM maturity of the Facades team, liaising with the wider SkillsNetwork to consolidate processes, templates, guidance, BEP, LOD, Unifi library, etc also helping upskilling the broader team to basic BIM knowledge (i.e., browsing, querying and extracting information from existing Revit models).You will be pushing our Digital Transformation and workflows in connection with BIM (e.g., parametric and seamless workflows through Grasshopper, Rhino, Inside and Speckle), and wider automation opportunities at Arup (e.g., Global / Facades Taxonomy).

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in producing façade shopdrawings and tender package using AutoCAD
- Proven knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and BIM 360. General knowledge of other environments including Rhinocerous, Sketchup, MicroStation and VectorWorks is beneficial
- Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards with relevant QA processes
- Experience with model federation and coordination is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino Inside, Grasshopper, Unity and point cloud technology & plugins is highly beneficial
