**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assessment and Monitoring**:

- Monitor vital signs, growth, and developmental milestones
- Recognize symptoms of illness and report changes in condition
- **Medical Procedures and Treatment**:

- Administer medications, vaccinations, and IV therapy
- Assist in diagnostic tests and minor procedures
- Wound care, catheterization, and other age-appropriate interventions
- **Emergency Care**:

- Provide immediate care in emergencies (e.g., seizures, injuries)
- Assist during pediatric resuscitation (PALS protocols)
- **Pain Management**:

- Use age-appropriate pain assessment tools
- Administer analgesics and comfort measure
- **Family-Centered Care**:

- Involve parents/caregivers in decision-making
- Educate families on home care, medication, and nutrition
- **Emotional and Psychological Support**:

- Support children dealing with fear, anxiety, or trauma
- Use therapeutic play and distraction techniques
- **Nutrition and Hygiene Support**:

- Assist with feeding (especially in neonates or children with special needs)
- Promote hygiene and toilet training, appropriate to age

**Qualifications**:

- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with the State Nursing Council
- 1 to 5 years of relevant nursing experience in Pediatric department
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient handling skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and crisis management abilities
