School Van Driver

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Ensure the safety of students during boarding, transit, and drop-off.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety compliance.
- Maintain order and discipline among students on the bus.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students as needed.
- Report accidents, delays, and any safety concerns to school authorities.
- Keep the bus clean and fueled as per school guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Valid **commercial driving license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements** (as per local/state regulations).
- Minimum **[2] years of experience** as a professional driver (school bus driving experience preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Knowledge of traffic rules, safety regulations, and first aid procedures.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by law.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience as a school bus driver or in a similar transportation role.
