Job Description: Reservation Assistant

**Location**: Anand Vardhan Resort, Manali

**Position Overview**

The Reservation Assistant will be responsible for managing and processing guest reservations while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The individual will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth booking experience for guests and maintaining accurate records of all reservations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Reservation Management**:

- Process guest reservations efficiently and accurately in the property management system.
- Confirm bookings and ensure timely communication with guests regarding reservation details.

**Customer Service**:

- Assist guests with any pre-arrival requests or special requirements.
- Provide detailed information about the resort's facilities, services, and nearby attractions.
- Address guest concerns or complaints related to reservations promptly and professionally.

**Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure all guest preferences are communicated and fulfilled.
- Assist in managing group bookings and event reservations.

**Data Management**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of reservations in the system.
- Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports with the management team.

**Upselling and Revenue Maximization**:

- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as spa packages, tours, or dining options.
- Ensure occupancy and revenue goals are supported through strategic booking practices.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: Diploma or degree in hospitality, travel, or related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in reservations, front office, or a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional regional languages are an advantage).
- **Interpersonal Skills**: A guest-focused approach with excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- **Organizational Skills**: Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reservations simultaneously.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to handle last-minute changes and work under pressure.

**Work Conditions**

Full-time role requiring flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and shifts as per the resort’s operational needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,211.70 - ₹35,501.48 per month
