**Location**: SIMATS Engineering, SIMATS, Thandalam, Chennai

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, ensuring the safety and security of campus premises, reporting suspicious activities, and maintaining surveillance equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor CCTV cameras and live feeds to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Maintain surveillance logs and prepare incident reports.
- Coordinate with the security team during emergencies or unauthorized access.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of surveillance systems.
- Store and retrieve footage when required for investigations.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surveillance or security monitoring.
- Good knowledge of CCTV systems and related technologies.
- Attention to detail, alertness, and a high level of integrity.

**2. Administrative Officer - Job Description**

**Job Title**: Administrative Officer
**Reports To**: Principal/Director/Administrative Head
**Location**: SIMATS Engineering, SIMATS, Thandalam, Chennai

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, ensuring effective coordination among departments, and supporting institutional governance and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage office operations, staff schedules, and records.
- Assist in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and maintain official correspondence.
- Support HR functions such as attendance tracking, recruitment assistance, and policy compliance.
- Liaise with government bodies, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and record management systems.

**3. Hostel Warden - Job Description**

**Job Title**: Hostel Warden (Male/Female as applicable)
**Reports To**: Dean of Student Affairs / Hostel Committee
**Location**: SIMATS Engineering, SIMATS, Thandalam, Chennai

**Job Summary**:
Ensures the smooth functioning of the hostel, maintains discipline, provides student support, and ensures the safety and well-being of hostel residents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise hostel operations, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Monitor student movement and ensure hostel rules are followed.
- Handle grievances and emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Maintain attendance registers, visitor records, and hostel inventories.
- Coordinate with mess staff for meal planning and hygiene.
- Conduct periodic room inspections and facilitate hostel events.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Graduate in any discipline; preference for social work or psychology background.
- Prior experience as a hostel warden or in student welfare roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, discipline, and authority.
- Willing to stay within or near hostel premises.
