**Position Overview**:
The Internal Communications Expert will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive internal communication strategies that inform, inspire, and connect our employees across all levels and departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with the DDIT organization strategy, values, and goals.
- Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Manage the planning and delivery of both virtual and in-person events, town halls/communication meetings and strategic program events.
- Create compelling content for various internal communication channels, including:
- Company-wide newsletters
- Intranet platforms
- Internal social media platforms
- Collaborate with leadership teams to effectively communicate strategic priorities, organizational changes, and important company updates.
- Conduct regular communication audits and employee feedback surveys to measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.
- Manage and curate content for the company's internal communication platforms.
- Track and analyze communication metrics to continuously improve engagement and reach.

**Communication**:

- Excellent communication skills - able to communicate in a wide range of styles, appropriate to different individuals, groups, and situations
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Analytical skills for interpreting multiple sources of data metrics and content to produce executive summaries and impactful communication material.
- Understanding of various channels of internal communication in a hybrid and digital environment.

**Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a similar role
- Experience with communication measurement and analytics
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal audiences.
