**Associated Professionals in this role get to**:
**Establish PeopleSoft system specifications by conferring with users**: Analyzing workflow, access, information and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.

**Establish PeopleSoft system by planning and executing**: Selection, installation, configuration and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and system management systems; defining system and operational policies and procedures.

**Secure PeopleSoft system**: By developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.

**Prepare users by designing and conducting training programs**: Providing references and support.

**Upgrade system by conferring with vendors and services**: Developing, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements and new software.

**Meet financial requirements by submitting information for budgets**: Monitoring expenses.

**Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities**: Reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

**Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential**: Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

**Participate in analysis and design of securing all entry points for PeopleSoft system**: Assist in resolving PeopleSoft security related production issues. Configure / develop security objects that adhere to PeopleSoft development, standards and best practices, and the ability to document the security changes so that they may be interpreted, maintained and enhanced.

**Be able to understand SQRs, Application Engine and other PeopleSoft tools and functions.**

**Be responsible for compliance with University policies and procedures related to the overall People Soft**: Security environment including PS Access change management controls and related documentation. Responsible for analyzing, modifying, testing, debugging, implementing, demonstrating SDLC experience, supporting systems related to access provisioning and federated authentication.

**Think strategically**: Suggesting process improvements and help in creating standardizations.

**Identify, troubleshoot, test and resolve PeopleSoft security related issues.**

**Assist in the development of IAM strategies that aligns with UTD’s objectives.**

**Develope and send communications to end users**: Providing a point of contact for end users experiencing problems.

**Remain knowledgeable of trends and advancements in information systems and information technology**: In order to assess the feasibility of implementing new services, systems and technology.

**Qualifications**
- Any Degree, 15 years study- Ability to be attentive to details- To work in a fast-paced environment-
