Social Media Marketing Intern

**Job Overview**: The Social Media Marketing Intern will support our marketing team by contributing to the development and execution of social media strategies tailored to the beauty and wellness industry. This role is perfect for recent graduates or students with a passion for social media, creativity, and a keen interest in beauty and wellness products. The intern will gain valuable experience in content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Content Creation**: Assist in developing engaging and visually appealing content for our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Content types may include posts, stories, videos, graphics, and infographics that align with our brand’s aesthetic and messaging.
- **Social Media Management**: Help manage and update our social media profiles, ensuring that all posts reflect our brand values and are optimized for engagement. Schedule and publish content according to our content calendar.
- **Campaign Execution**: Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions, including product launches, special offers, and seasonal themes. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative ideas and strategies.
- **Community Engagement**: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms to build and maintain positive relationships with our audience. Engage with followers to drive interactions and increase brand loyalty.
- **Analytics and Reporting**: Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics such as engagement rates, reach, impressions, and conversions. Prepare regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for improving social media strategies.
- **Trend Research**: Stay informed about the latest trends in social media, beauty, and wellness to ensure our content and strategies are innovative and relevant. Share insights and ideas with the team to enhance our social media presence.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader marketing goals and brand initiatives. Provide support in organizing and executing social media-related events and campaigns.
- **Administrative Support**: Assist with various administrative tasks related to social media management, including maintaining content calendars, organizing media assets, and updating tracking documents.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- **Experience**: No prior professional experience required; however, a strong interest in social media marketing, beauty, and wellness is essential. Examples of personal or academic social media projects are a plus.

**Skills**:

- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) and their best practices.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for creative expression.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Passion for the beauty and wellness industry with an understanding of current trends and consumer preferences.
