A hotel security officer's job is to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the hotel property. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe environment.

Ensuring the overall safety and security of guests and staff by enforcing hotel security policies and procedures.

Documenting incidents, security observations, and any suspicious activities in security logs or reports.

Ensuring that guests and staff adhere to hotel rules and regulations

In some cases, hotel security officers may also be responsible for training and supervising other security personnel, according to Princess Hotels & Resorts
