**Job Title: Pre-Primary** **School Coordinator**

**Location: BDW International School, Shillong - Meghalaya**

**Job Summary**:The School Pre-Primary Coordinator plays a crucial role in the effective management and coordination of the pre-primary section within the school. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations, curriculum development, and staff management to ensure a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development**:

- Design, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and educational programs for pre-primary students.
- Ensure that the curriculum aligns with educational standards and focuses on holistic child development.
- **Staff Supervision and Development**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise pre-primary teachers and support staff.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching practices.
- Organize professional development opportunities for pre-primary staff to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- **Student Welfare and Progress**:

- Monitor the academic and social progress of pre-primary students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address individual student needs and create a positive learning environment.
- **Parental Engagement**:

- Foster open communication with parents, organizing regular meetings and events to keep them informed about their child's progress and the school's pre-primary activities.
- Address parental concerns and inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- **Resource Management**:

- Manage and allocate resources, including educational materials, toys, and facilities, to support an engaging and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with school administration to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Implement and enforce health and safety policies to create a secure environment for pre-primary students.
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure that staff is well-trained on emergency procedures.
- **Collaboration with Other Departments**:

- Coordinate with other school departments to integrate pre-primary activities with the overall school curriculum and events.
- **Event Planning**:

- Plan and organize pre-primary events, performances, and celebrations to engage students, parents, and the community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and educational theories related to pre-primary education.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant educational technologies and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administration.
- Certification in early childhood education or leadership is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
