**POSITION TITLE: Associate, Capital Markets
**Position Summary**:The new position will report to a team lead within the Capital Markets team. The role will include financial/analytical modelling, pricing, pricing errors, reporting, data analytics, data quality checks, based on the sophistication and complex needs of the team. The position requires an individual with previous knowledge and/ or a strong interest in Capital Markets and more specifically the US mortgage industry. Intermediate python/SQL/Excel skills are required, and mortgage industry experience is preferred.
**Job Functions and Responsibilities**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Build various financial analytical models in python/excel/SQL/Power BI/VBA
- Review daily pipeline reports to identify and resolve pricing and data issues, deviations, or areas of concern
- Producing various business reports for senior management.
- Being up to date mortgage industry changes, pricing rule changes etc. Risk management/hedging.
**Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree required
- Minimum CGPA 8 in graduation, class 10 th & 12 th
- Minimum of 0-1 years of experience in finance/software programming/SQL
- Ability to interface confidently with internal/external parties
- Python/Microsoft Excel/Power BI/VBA experience a bonus
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Superior communication skills and strong teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
