**Responsibilities**:
Associates at Capital One utilize a wide array of tools and data to perform analysis to identify drivers and trends that impact the near
- and long-term trajectory of our division.
- Support the growth of the business by executing key financial planning and analysis initiatives such as transitioning from standard cost to actual cost, migrating to Finance One Stream, and creating cost estimates. Develop insightful financial models and analyses. The role also supports horizontal initiatives by providing analytical modeling support.
- The Finance Associate will engage with the US-based Financial Services (FS) line of business, monitoring financial performance and providing counsel to senior-level executives through monthly reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, financial analysis, and budgeting against headcount and operating expense targets. Regularly liaison with India and global stakeholders to resolve queries.
- Prepare financial & headcount outlooks that incorporate up to date information by partnering with teams across the organization and provide transparency in the costs allocated between India and global entities.
- Monitor exceptions from standards and lead reporting. Implement process improvements, and understand all of the data that is key to your business line.
- Ensure finance, budgeting and reporting policies, procedures and controls are up to date, and meet compliance requirements. Coordinate with global and local control monitoring teams, and ensure that control testing is performed. Highlight trends to provide transparency.
- Engage and support audits for finance related queries. Coordinate with both global and local audit teams during audit assessments. Ensure that business continuity plans are up to date.

**Qualifications**:

- CA
- Good to have: Knowledge of Tally, Workday and Peoplesoft
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal, written and presentation
