**Job Title: Restaurant Captain**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Service Excellence**: Provide exceptional customer service to restaurant patrons, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
- **Dining Room Management**: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dining area, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and supervise the waitstaff and other restaurant personnel, ensuring adherence to service standards and promoting a cohesive team environment.
- **Guest Interactions**: Interact with guests, take orders, and make recommendations based on menu knowledge and guest preferences.
- **Order Coordination**: Manage the flow of orders between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
- **Upselling**: Encourage and facilitate upselling of menu items to enhance the overall guest experience and contribute to revenue generation.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve any issues or complaints from guests, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- **Training and Development**: Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to ensure consistent service quality.
- **Shift Coordination**: Coordinate service during peak hours, ensuring optimal efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- **Cash Handling**: Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
- **Hygiene and Safety**: Enforce and maintain hygiene and safety standards in the dining area, overseeing cleanliness and organization.
- **Menu Knowledge**: Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special offerings.
- **Special Events**: Coordinate and manage special events, parties, and reservations, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other restaurant personnel to ensure a seamless dining experience.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a restaurant captain or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- **Leadership Abilities**: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- **Customer Focus**: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

**Salary**: ₹11,033.93 - ₹21,357.78 per month
