About the Role We are looking for a QA / Test Automation Intern who can design, automate, and execute robust test frameworks for our Python-based diagnostic systems. You will ensure quality across software that integrates real-time embedded USB devices, PyQt-based interfaces, and Chromium workflows — all in a healthcare context.

Your focus will be both system-level testing and workflow-level simulation, ensuring each software release meets the stability, performance, and functional standards required for use in clinical environments. Key Responsibilities **Design and implement test plans covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.** Develop automated test scripts for both backend (Flask/Python) and frontend (Chromium/PyQt) components.

**Simulate USB device inputs and behaviour to verify real-time data handling.** Create and maintain UI workflow tests using tools like PyAutoGUI, Selenium, or Squish. **Coordinate with developers to identify testable features and critical edge cases.** Maintain test data environments and CI-compatible test pipelines. **Document bugs, test results, and suggest quality improvements. Required Skills** 0-1 years of experience in QA, test automation, or systems testing.

**Strong knowledge of Python-based test frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest).** Experience with automating UI tests (Selenium, PyAutoGUI, or PyQt-based tools). **Familiarity with hardware/software testing or USB device simulation (e.g., using virtual serial ports, custom mocks).** Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Bonus Skills **Experience testing software in regulated or healthcare environments.** Knowledge of Chromium automation (Puppeteer, Playwright).
