**Role & Responsibilities**:
This is a senior hands-on developer position
The selected person should show high degree of ownership and technical knowledge in RDBMS and
Power BI technologies. Also, the selected person would be responsible to independently work with
global stakeholders and end-users to drive requirement discovery and testing to ensure high quality
software deliveries.
The role and responsibilities are as follows:

- Responsible for front-to-end delivery of Power BI and RISK MIS Reporting for Prime.
- Design and develop high-quality software deliveries within the committed deadlines.
- Collaborate with various development and support teams across different regions.

maintenance releases in Power BI and RISK MIS work streams.
- Willing to own deliveries and work hands-on across all aspects of software delivery including

development, testing and support.
- Willing to learn new technologies/ tools as required, in order to effectively deliver output.
- Willing to work from office as per firm’s RTO policy

Domain skills (Good To Have)
- Good understanding of capital markets.
- Good understanding of financial products like swaps, futures, equities, bonds, PTH.
- Good understanding of margin trading

Technical skills
- Hands on knowledge on any RDBMS technology like Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server/MySQL.
- Hands on knowledge on writing database procedures, functions, views, inline sub queries and

using temporary tables.
- In-depth knowledge on Power BI Services, Datasource Management, DAX Queries, Generate

Visualizations, Data Export, Workspace Management, Dashboard sharing etc.
- In-depth knowledge on Power BI Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts like Star

Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensions and Fact Tables.
- Good in dealing with large volumes of data (millions/billions of rows of data) and dealing with

partitioned tables.
- Good on Linux commands.
- GitLab CI - Continuous Integration.
- Good problem solving, logical and analytical skills.
- Good and experienced in handling problems and troubleshooting database issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (as this is senior stakeholders facing role).
- Quick learner.
- Highly proactive and takes initiative to identify problem areas and evolve solutions.**

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computing / business / quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of Java development experience.
- Very strong and current ‘hands -on’ development experience in core JAVA (v.8 or later), including multi-threading, and related

technologies on Unix/Linux/Windows environment
- Experience in REST services, JSON data, JDBC, JMX, JMS, Spring/Spring Boot
- Fluent in writing complex SQL (SQL Server, Oracle or similar).
- Deep understanding of the SDLC, DevOps processes, Agile methodologies, Design Patterns, Enterprise integration patterns
- Good understanding of financial products and capital markets.
- A team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
- Proven track record delivering technical solutions in a complex global environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working on AWS cloud
- Python 2 or 3
- Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
- Web development using ReactJS
- Big Data, Hadoop, Snowflake
