financial goals. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Tax Associate with 3+

years of relevant experience to join our team remotely. This position offers the opportunity to

Position Overview:
As an Accounting Tax Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering bookkeeping, tax

proactive, with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with the team. You will be

responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations,

and contributing to strategic tax planning for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting
- Manage and reconcile general ledgers for multiple clients on a monthly basis.
- Prepare accurate financial statements including balance sheets, income, and cash flow

statements.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and assist with payroll processing.
- Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.

Tax Preparation
- Prepare and file individual (1040), corporate (1120), and partnership (1065) tax returns.
- Organize and review client tax documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities including deductions and credits.
- Communicate with internal team to resolve questions and validate tax data.

Tax Planning
- Collaborate on developing proactive tax strategies tailored to client needs.
- Stay updated on current federal, state, and local tax legislation.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining compliance for tax-saving strategies.

Client Communication
- Maintain regular updates with internal teams and progress toward direct client

interaction.
- Foster strong, professional relationships and ensure excellent service delivery.

Other Responsibilities
- Contribute to internal process improvements and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Support the team in maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping, ideally in a CPA firm or

similar professional setting.
- Proficient in accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and tax software like

ProSeries, UltraTax, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment and independently manage workload.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification (or in progress).
- Experience supporting small business clients with tax strategy and planning.
