- Develop mood boards, sketches, and digital mock-ups to communicate design concepts.
- Experiment with different techniques, materials, and technologies to develop innovative fabric designs.
- **Research and Trend Analysis**:

- Conduct market research to identify current and future trends in têxtiles, color, and fashion.
- Stay updated with industry trends, fabrics, textures, and techniques.
- Analyze competitor products and collections to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- **Collaboration with Design Teams**:

- Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and other stakeholders to integrate têxtile designs into collections.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that têxtile designs complement garment styles and meet brand guidelines.
- Participate in design meetings and presentations to contribute creative ideas and feedback.
- **Technical Development**:

- Create detailed technical specifications, including fabric compositions, print placements, repeat sizes, and color separations.
- Work with manufacturers and suppliers to develop fabric samples and prototypes.
- Review and approve fabric samples, ensuring quality standards and design integrity are maintained.
- **Production Support**:

- Provide technical support to the production team during the fabric printing and dyeing processes.
- Monitor production timelines and address any issues related to fabric quality, color accuracy, or design placement.
- Ensure all têxtile designs meet the required standards for durability, colorfastness, and sustainability.
- **Sustainability and Innovation**:

- Explore sustainable têxtile options and innovative materials to align with the company’s environmental goals.
- Research and propose new materials, techniques, or technologies that can enhance the firm's product offerings.
- **Documentation and Presentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all têxtile designs, including digital files, samples, and technical specifications.
- Present têxtile designs to internal teams, clients, or stakeholders, clearly communicating the inspiration, process, and final outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in têxtile design, preferably within the fashion industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of têxtile designs, including prints, patterns, and textures.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software).
- Knowledge of têxtile production techniques, fabric types, dyeing, and printing processes.
- Understanding of color theory, fabric construction, and material properties.
