**Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. The SME will play a pivotal role in shaping FivD Academy's EdTech offerings by developing high-quality educational content, delivering training, and supporting course development to address the evolving needs of the AEC sector.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Content Development**
Design, develop, and curate industry-specific learning materials for online and blended learning courses in the AEC domain.
Collaborate with instructional designers to create engaging, interactive, and learner-centric content.
Ensure alignment with industry standards, certifications, and latest technologies (e.g., BIM, CAD, GIS, construction management software).
**2. Training Delivery**
Conduct live training sessions (online/in-person) and workshops for students and professionals.
Provide guidance and mentorship to learners for skill enhancement in AEC-specific tools and techniques.
**3. Industry Insights & Trends**
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and practices in the AEC industry.
Share insights to help shape the academy’s course offerings, ensuring relevance and market competitiveness.
**4. Collaboration & Partnerships**
Work closely with industry experts, corporate partners, and certification bodies to validate course content and structure.
Foster relationships with AEC companies for training programs and internships.
**5. Quality Assurance**
Review and validate course content, assessments, and projects to ensure accuracy, depth, and applicability.
Maintain the highest quality standards in all educational deliverables.
**6. Support Revenue Goals**
Contribute to initiatives for monetizing training programs and attracting enrollments.
Assist in marketing and promotional activities by participating in webinars, industry events, and social media discussions.
**Qualifications**
**1. Educational Background**
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
Certifications in industry-relevant tools such as BIM (Autodesk Revit), CAD, Primavera, or Project Management (PMP) are preferred.
**2. Experience**
Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the AEC industry or academia.
Prior experience in teaching, training, or developing educational content is a plus.
**3. Technical Skills**
Proficiency in AEC software tools (BIM, CAD, GIS, etc.).
Familiarity with eLearning tools and platforms is desirable.
**4. Soft Skills**
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
Timely delivery of high-quality course content and training modules.
Positive feedback and satisfaction scores from learners.
Increase in learner enrollments and course completion rates.
Industry partnerships and collaborations established for the academy.
Contribution to the revenue growth of the EdTech vertical.
