The Trade Sales is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge in structured trade with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
Good understanding of how the product teams and network integrate with each other in accomplishing the objectives of the client.
Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.
Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.
Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

**Responsibilities**:
Grow the structured trade book for select clients in West Region in partnership with Solution Sales
Work closely with Trade Product, OPS, Global & Regional Approvers (as applicable) to build a platform and processes for structured trade
Originate New To Trade Clients, cross-selling structured trade products to deepen wallet penetration, revenue realization and expansion, and driving customer satisfaction through quality service delivery
Responsible for growing the Trade P&L of clients and oversee the sales process from origination to revenue realization for assigned clients
Manage and drive the deal team and work closely with Relationship Managers, Trade Product, TTS Solution Sales, Client Delivery and O&T to achieve objectives
Ensure consistent, professional delivery of all client management disciplines including: account planning, call reporting, lead generation, pipeline management, implementation acceleration, plus TTS relationship reviews
Determine client objectives & financial needs that can be addressed through the TTS platform
Identify opportunities for new deals across Trade product set and geographies including multi-product requirements
Develop and maintain market knowledge through participation in conferences and keeping up to date on market trends affecting clients
Drive overall client satisfaction with the TTS platform and build customer loyalty
Respond to customer escalation for operational/customer service issues, including complex or cross-geography issues
Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services

**Qualifications**:
Minimum 8 years relevant experience (Trade Product or Trade Sales)
Understanding of the supply chain side for corporate clients, knowledge of working capital cycle and client’s balance sheet
Customer service oriented person with excellent communication skills
In-depth knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operations
Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication skills
Analytical and advanced problem solving skills
Self-motivated and resourceful
A sense of pragmatism and urgency in execution of strategy
Innate leadership ability to galvanize resources across units

**Education**:
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
